When did you start writing about music—and what or who were your early passions and influences? 


'I was 16 when I wrote my first song. It was a rap about smoking weed and drinking 40's. It wasn't all that good' -Will


Who are your favorite musicians? Groups? CD’s?


The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Talking Heads, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Zappa, Funkadelic


Do you get nervous before a performance ?


Not usually, no.


How do you promote your shows?


Facebook, texting, empty threats of physical harm


What's your outlook on the record industry today?


Hasn't done anything for us, don't pay it much attention


What's your claim to fame?


We opened for Johnny Winter at BB King's in NYC a year before his untimely passing.


What inspires you to do what you do?


The rush of the live show, making people dance, laugh, smile and let loose.


What embarrassing songs might I find on your MP3 player?

Do you have any fan comments of how your music or a song affected them?


'I have a writer friend in Nashville who loves our song Captain Willy. He said he listens to it when he is looking for inspiration to write. Means the world to me'- Will


How would you describe your perfect day?


It starts with great sex with a beautiful woman on a sunny day, followed by great food and a cocktail. A bloody mary perhaps. Hanging with good company before riding my motorcycle to a packed show where all my friends are in attendance and the groove is just right from the first song to the last encore.


Best song you ever written and why?


'Maybe 'I Was Wrong' cause it's the most honest, maybe 'The Curse' cause it's honest too, but very fun and stupid simple. That is for other people to say, not me' 


How do you handle mistakes during a performance?


Pretend like it didn't happen or make the same mistake again to make it seem intentional. Most of the time the crowd doesn't know.


Is there a particular song or musical passage that never fails to move you emotionally?


'Hope She'll be Happier' -Bill Withers. I cry every time. 


If you weren't singing, what would you be doing?


'Working in a kitchen, probably' 


Is there something you would like to do more of in the future?


I would like to tour more with The Voodoo Fix and other great musicians locally and internationally. Would love to go to South America, the Caribbean, parts of Asia, Africa. I also look forward to writing and recording many more songs to share with the world.
